The Tiger baseball team was on the road at Atlanta Tuesday. Brashear took an early 2-0 lead after one inning and added runs in the 3rd, 4th, and 5th innings to lead 9-0. Atlanta wouldn't go quietly as they rallied for 3 runs in the 7th, but Brashear held on for the 9-3 win. Jack Reeves lead Brashear with 3 hits, two of them home runs. Cole Erwin had 4 hits, with Drew Magruder and Rhett Whitlow having 2 hits each. Jack Reeves got the start going a strong 5 2/3 innings, giving up only 1 hit and striking out 7. Drew Magruder and John Higgins pitched in relief.
